Reading materials that are used to supplement lectures often add to the problem. A two-pronged approach of changes in content delivery by the professor and the use of reading strategies commonly used in K-12 classrooms may assist non-native English speaking students in improving the comprehension of lectures and reading materials. Event Details

The 2^nd Annual UDM Colleague Development Days are scheduled for Wednesday & Thursday, August 22-23, 2012. Day 1 will include workshops and presentations to inform, educate and inspire UDM faculty, staff and administrators. Day 2 will include a half-day assessment workshop presented by Dr. Marilee Bresciani, a nationally recognized expert on outcomes assessments.

Please indicate the sessions you plan to attend (not more than one per time slot, maximum of eight). Click the MORE INFO link for a brief description of the session and the facilitator name(s).
